Hero
There are two types of heroes, Combat Heroes and Meta Heroes. The Combat Heroes is more game facing; they are being used in the game for the actual fights and battles by the players; more than often, it is just referred to as “hero”. Meta Heroes, on the hand, is a unique character that would have more effects on the Play-to-Earn side. Please refer to the IDV’s White Paper for the details about Meta Heroes.
Classes
Classes for HOTA are the starting archetypes available to the players, some would understand it as “occupation” or “role”. Choosing a class determines the players’ troops and skills, which can then be improved and upgraded later as the players progress throughout the game. The roles for heroes include Infantry, Guardian, Cavalry, Mage, Archer, and Assassin.
Skills
The heroes’ skills are related to their race, different heroes have their respective races and skills. Any hero nevertheless has only one Active Skill, several Passive Skills, and one Awaken Skill.
Both Active and Passive skills can be upgraded, and the effect increases as the skills are at a higher level. It is important to note that Awaken Skill is only made available when two or more heroes are present together as a combination.
Awaken Force
Heroes will unlock the Awaken Force upon the character’s level reaches level 40, the Awaken Skill is only activated by then, which gives them special battling effects regarding to their classes.
Heroes Combination
With the simplest and most straightforward design of Heroes Combination, making a team can never be easier.
Players shall consider neither the types nor the attributes, not even classes. Just follows the system's predefined combination and activates the Awaken Skills in no time.
